So true! Write, and then see where it takes you. Which direction will you take?

I’m doing the NaNoWriMo challenge too!! I totally agree, the fear has been stalling my creative writing today. I had to take a break for awhile. Plus, when I believe I’m blocked, then I am. I have to change my thinking and know that I am NOT blocked. 🙂

I’ve often suffered from a form of writing ‘stage fright’ where it feels time speeds up and I’m never going to get anything done. My solution is to free myself from perfection, and spend fifteen minutes just flow writing on a theme, to just have fun with writing, play, and see where that takes me. 🙂

What are you working on for NaNoWriMO? Do you have solid idea, or are you ‘pantsing’ it? If you want to catch up with me, my user name for NaNoWriMo is B&W Kat. I’d love to cheer you on with your progress!

Thanks, as ever, for reading ❤

I’ll send you a buddy request! My name is Silent Lucidity (didn’t know it would end up as my author name..LOL) I though it was just a username. I have my excerpt and synopsis that you can read. I had a “small” plan and now I am kind of winging it, allowing my story to form from the flow within, but like I said, the fear and anxiety has kind of clogged my creative flow.
I don’t know if I would call it fear, but more self-doubt. Looking forward to cheering you on as well!!

Hi, this is Lilacj you chose me as a buddy, probably because I also live in Caerphilly. I have started two novels and one children’s book and never finished any of them.

  3. Katie Hamer says:

Hi, Lynne! Thanks for visiting my ‘site. NaNo’s quite a thing, isn’t it? I’m finding it scary, but I’m also feeling excited. Hopefully we can inspire each other to finish our projects 🙂
