Day 11 – Taking to my wings and…

…learning to Tweet!

What I’ve learned from Twitter

Conversations are where it’s at. You can be as clever as you like, maybe as witty as Oscar Wilde, but it’s the reciprocal comments that get the most notice. I’ve struck up interesting conversations with all sorts including weathermen and politicians. I’ve also found out about job opportunities and contests through reading Tweets.

Twitter, like life, is what you make of it. I don’t like to take life too seriously. On Twitter I’ll happily quote from films as much as from great works of literature. Here’s one of my early Tweets as an example:

“[Your] future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is what you make it, so make it a good one.”

Doc, ‘Back to the Future 3’

So true! Thanks for reading.
