Time to Reflect

I’ve had time off work this week to write, which should have been a blessing. Instead, my family and world have been rocked by the tragic death of a close relative. I was to write a post for my blog that evening, when I received news of the death, in a phone call. The relative in question wasn’t terminally ill (as far as I’m aware) and the news came as a great shock.

In light of recent events, I have decided to take a step back, reflect on the direction I’m going with this blog, and with life in general. I’m thinking long and hard about the themes I’d like to cover here, what matters to my readers, what I think is important to share with others. Hopefully, after this period of reflection, I will come back stronger than ever.

Thanks, as ever, for taking the time to read.

How have unexpected events changed the course of your life? If you have any comments, I’d love to hear from you.
